About Me

Welcome, and thank you for being here and supporting me in doing what I love, I appreciate it more than you could ever know! My name is Sonya, I’m the sole creator of Boho Stones. Thank you for gifting your precious time to get to know me. My loves are family, friends, the beach, coffee and travel to those little magical places that make you appreciate every little thing around you. Being outside in the sunshine or walking along the beach grounds me and inspires me to create pieces that I absolutely love! I started Boho Stones with the intention to make loving, responsible, high quality, hypoallergenic and affordable handmade jewellery to bring gifts of joy to those around me and wanted to share that same joy through connection with you all.

I’m completely self-taught, with most of my knowledge coming from You Tube videos and the occasional class taken in person to learn new skills. Jewellery making gives me purpose and allows me to channel my creativity into crafting something beautiful. I wanted my brand to be high quality (for sensitive skin owners such as myself) yet affordable so all of my pieces are made from a Sterling Silver or 20K Gold Vermeil, which can be worn daily.

I want to create beautiful pieces whilst utilising supplies from other Australian small business. All of my metals are sourced responsibly through Palloy’s, with none of my metal being discarded. All off cuts are melted down to create one of a kind molten piece’s that I just love and I know you will too.
